Solar Stuff

Let’s face it, solar stuff is cool. Nearly anything that requires electricity can be powered by solar, and for free no less. Radios, flashlights, and even small electronic devices such as mp3 players and cell phones can all benefit from solar power.

Not all solar stuff is expensive either. While it’s true that items such as residential solar panels and the like can cost a lot of money, smaller battery chargers and solar powered flashlights can be found relatively inexpensively. Low cost solar panels can also be incorporated into backpacks and briefcases and used to recharge batteries on computers and cell phones.

As solar technology continues to improve, there is little doubt that the list of solar stuff for consumers will continue to increase. And as technology improves, solar equipment will more than likely get smaller as well. Because solar power is free, the more ways in which it can be utilized, the better it is for our pocketbooks and our planet.
