Solar Generators

Anyone that has watched the news in recent months has witnessed the devastation that can occur because of an earthquake, tornado, or other natural disaster. Even a thunderstorm can knock out electricity for entire communities. In the unfortunate event of a power outage, solar generators can be a great source of emergency power.

Many homeowners are turning to solar generators for secure, emergency back-up power. These units are often small but highly effective, with some being capable of producing up to 1800 watts of continuous power. And unlike a gas-powered generator, they produce no emissions or noise.

Solar generators are becoming the preferred source of back-up power because they can run completely independently. While a gas generator can certainly produce electricity, once they run out of fuel the power shuts off. All that is required for a solar generator is sunshine.
